Current Obsessions

We're half way through the week and half way through June friends!  Can you believe it?   I've rounded up my obsessions for the week but my first two are must haves- I have finally found the perfect tank tops.  They are comfortable, flattering, and not see through!   I don't know why the see through thin knit tank is in these days but I hate it and I don't want to layer a tank top.   I'm so happy I finally found something that works and hope you all love them too.

This is the first in my must have tanks, I tried this on in Loft this week and it's a great basic tank.  Lightweight, flattering, and loose.  The best part is that it's soft and thin but not see through!

I don't know how, but I have never tried the Perfect Fit line from J.Crew.   I tried these on in store this week and was so impressed.  They are a heavier cotton with a tighter rather than loose fit but they are so flattering.  I think the heavier material helps smooth everything out.   It comes in quite a few solid colors and some fun stripes.  I got it in olive, navy stripe, and gray.  My store didn't carry the t-shirt so I ordered it online and can't wait to try it.

How cute is this dress?  The swing dress is such a comfortable style and as you know I can't get enough white this season

This is the higher heeled version of the sandals I posted last week and I think I'm just as obsessed with these.  I love love this color.

Can I get one of these shirts in all the colors? This shirt could easily be dressed up for down depending on your mood

I really don't own any casual skirts and think this one would be perfect to throw on with a t-shirt this summer.

Off the shoulder and eyelet! Could there be anything better?!

Annabel Ingall uses the softest leather in her products and I'm loving the saddle bag look right now.  This almond color is great for summer.

I have these shorts in the stripe (which is now sold out) but I love this dot print and the pull on waist is so flattering.

These remind me of the Sam Edelman Gemma sandals for for half the price!

You've probably picked up on it by now but I'm all about the neutrals (and blues) these days.  Love the suede detail on this dress and this style makes it easy to pull off for summer.

Another adorable tank from J.Crew factory- they are just hitting it out of the park lately.  The embroidery detail around the neck just gives it a little extra something. Again this could be dressed up or down.

The hunt for a cute one piece continues and this one is a top contender right now.  The back is what makes it the most interesting and gives it a little something so it doesn't feel like a mom suit.

This dress is so so cute on but it was too short for me :(  So if you're under 5'9 head to Loft and try this one on.  You won't be disappointed.

Every year I saw I want a raffia tote and then I never get one.  This one is only $30 so I think I might get it.  I don't have to carry around nearly as much baby stuff these days so I could totally justify using it as my bag of the summer.

Sorry about more blue and white (insert embarrassed emoji here) I just can't get enough of it this spring/summer.  This looks like an easy comfy pull on dress you can wear with kids.

What are you obsessing over this week?  Anyone else obsessed with all the blue and white this summer?

  2. I got that plaid from loft but in the shirt instead of the dress! And I'm always on the hunt for well fitting basic tanks! And why is it that so many light color shirts are see through!?!

  5. I wanted to love the Santorini suit SOOOO badly, but it just had an odd fit! The back is so, so adorable and doesn't scream mom, but the sides were too low in the chest area and the back crochet was actually too loose. I ended up with this JCrew suit (which has RAVE reviews...and now I know why!). https://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/Swim2/OnePieces/PRDOVR~B6818/B6818.jsp

    It's amazing!

  6. Those tanks look so comfy! My summer uniform is typically tanks like that, shorts and sandals (when I'm not really pregnant). I LOVE that one piece! So cute!! Also, meant to tell you I loved your snaps about your kitchen plans!

  9. Do you have the LOFT racerback tank? When I clicked the link it was racerback. And the one piece is cute! I'm having such a hard time finding a supportive top for a bathing suit, one piece or bikini. I totally contemplated that navy embroidered J.crew factory top when I was in the store, but didn't get it---yet.
