BLOG BIZ + BUZZ by Meg Biram of MIMI + MEG

I had the pleasure Tuesday night of attending Meg Biram's of MIMI+MEG fame BLOG BIZ+BUZZ workshop in DC. First off let me just say that Meg in real life is just as you imagine her to be- fun, hilarious, down-to-earth, and totally relatable!  I knew right off that bat that this event would not disappoint because the table was full of cupcakes and champagne- which is basically my idea of heaven, I mean champagne is my signature drink! I got to not only meet Meg but other DC area bloggers and entrepreneurs who were not only fun and friendly but inspiring! It's amazing how many women are putting themselves out there to find careers that are rewarding and fulfilling not just paychecks.

I went to this workshop for a variety of reasons but the one thing I took away was that you can't be afraid to just put yourself out there to promote your service or product. Right now in this day and age with Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc it is so easy and basically free to connect with people all over the world so what is stopping you!?  This was exactly the kind of advice I've been needing to hear lately and I cannot say enough good things about this workshop. If Meg brings BLOG BIZ+BUZZ to a city near you sign up- trust me it won't disappoint!
