TGIF: New Years Goals Follow-Up

**the blog name has changed but the blog has not and won't be changing, see the post below for details**

Since it's been 3 full months since I set my 2012 New Years goals I wanted to hold myself accountable and give a public update. You can see the full post here.

1. Read 50 books- so far I've read 14 books which according to Goodreads means I'm one book ahead-yay!!

2. Run 500 miles- umm yeah I haven't done very well with this one as far as running or recording what I have run.  I want to say I'm somewhere around 30 miles which means I'm seriously behind. I'm hoping now that the weather is warming up I will be able to make up for it. Any one have any suggestions for apps or websites to track mileage?

3. Cut back on shopping- especially online-I've been doing so well with this one! I've still bought a few items but I have cut back drastically from last year. I've been doing a good job of just deleting the shopping emails as they come in my inbox

4. Save money for house projects and actually complete the project- I've actually been accomplishing this one too. This is going much more slowly as house projects take more time and money but my kitchen is about 85% complete and now we're working on spring projects which I'll update you on soon

I hope everyone has a  fabulous Friday and weekend!

  2. Awesome job on the goals! 14 books already?! Wow! I'm so impressed. I haven't read a non-pregnancy/baby related book in months and I really miss reading! Gotta get better at that.

  5. I'm impressed that you've read 14 already! I use the Nike+ app to record my runs. I don't think you need the sensor in the shoes anymore to get it to work but I love that it keeps track of total miles, fastest times and furthest distances. It's always such great motivation for me! Oh and I'm right there with you on cutting down on the online shopping - it's so hard to ignore those emails but I don't want to remove myself from them either!!
