Easter is only two weeks away. I swear it was just Christmas and now spring is sneaking up on me. I try not to go overboard for Easter and usually stick with a theme for their baskets. Since we head to Rosemary Beach for our annual family vacation in May and the boys are currently in swim lessons I went with a beach/pool theme for their baskets.
The basket we use is this one in the large size from Pottery Barn Kids:
It's actually on sale today for $23 down from $39!! I snagged mine last year when they were on clearance after Easter
I try to keep the kids Easter Baskets on theme and relatively simple. We have SO MANY TOYS that I try to stay away from toys at Easter if possible and try to buy more things we need or outdoor toys to go with the theme.
1. Shark Beach Cover Up- How adorable are these shark cover ups?? I can not get over them and I know they boys will absolutely love them. They also have striped ones and both can be monogrammed! I picked up both the sharks and the striped but only had the striped ones monogrammed and I know they'll be adorable this summer. On sale for $39 down from $49!
2. Shark Towel- And of course we're going to need this shark towel to go with the cover up for Miller. For Matthew we went ahead and got this Disney Cars towel because he is obsessed with all things Disney Cars. Kids towels are on sale for $23 down from $29!
3. Water Blasters- You can't go wrong with these water blasters for the pool, these keep my boys entertained forever. My boys love these and with the option of a shark one and a dinosaur one it's perfect!
4. Shark Rashguard and Swim trunks- My boys are both so skinny that the swim trunks we have the best luck with are the Cat & Jack ones from Target and they usually have a matching rash guard which is a plus. When I saw these sharks ones I knew they would fit our theme for Easter Baskets
1. Fubble Bubbles- These are a favorite of ours from Target. I usually pick up a few every couple months to replenish ours, and yes my boys both still love bubbles!
2. Kids Garden tool set- I saw these in the Target dollar spot and could not pass them up! Miller got a set last summer but one of them broke so I picked up two of these for Easter baskets, this way then can help with the "gardening"
3. Sidewalk Chalk- We can never have enough sidewalk chalk around here. We probably do this daily in the summer and I love the bright options of the Crayola ones!
4. Play-doh- Another no brainer, I usually throw one or two of these into their Easter baskets since we again use play doh all the time.
5. Summer Sandals- I saw these adorable sandals at Carter's so I picked up two pairs for the boys for summer time and for "nicer" outfits.
6. Books or activity books- Then I usually put a book or activity book in their basket. As I mentioned Matthew loves Disney Cars so he's getting this sticker book and Miller is getting a Nat Geo Kids book about the Ocean.
What do you do for your kids Easter Baskets? Do you keep it simple or make it a big holiday? Do you do a theme for your baskets?

Love those adorable sandals! I bought some flip flop/sandals for Ella, but I have NO idea what will fit her tiny little feet, or what stage of walking she'll be at once it warms up. We will see!
