Current Obsessions

Happy Hump Day Friends! How is your week going?  This rainy weather we've been having is so depressing.  I mean I'll take it over snow any day but I wouldn't mind seeing the sun soon.   I still can't seem to shake off my trip to Cancun and my wish for warm weather, so I'm continuing to obsess over things I can't wear for at least three more months.

I still haven't jumped on the off the shoulder train but I'm loving this dress from ASOS so I want to give it a try. It doesn't hurt that it's only $26!!

How cute are these Le Specs sunglasses?  For some reason I'm on a huge sunglasses kick these days.  I'm loving oversized glasses and these are only $69!  Much more affordable than some of my favorite pairs.

I think this shirt dress would be adorable for the spring!  You could throw on a jean jacket and some booties to wear it until it got warmer out.

This tank looks like such an easy throw on tank for summer time and comes in a ton of colors.  You could definitely buy some now and layer until the weather got warmer.

Alex Monroe is a new designer to Shopbop and I'm loving all of his stuff.  This bumblebee necklace is my favorite but he also makes a bunny, fox, dragonfly, and hummingbird!  He also makes rings and bracelets that are just as cute.

I'm loving this blouse for now and this summer with jean shorts.  I love the embroidered detail to give it a little something.  It also comes in a fun blue and yellow.

I have a really hard time finding wedges that don't make me 6ft tall and these Loeffler Randall ones look perfect.   I love the feminine scallop detail and the nude color is perfection.

I have a J.Crew chambray dress from a couple of years ago and it's been such a staple in my closet but I feel like it needs an update.  I like the way this looks light and airy and I could wear it now with booties and through the summer with sandals.

Another off the shoulder look I'm loving, for some reason I'm really love the peasant blouses this year but this one looks comfy and cute. Something I could pull off with the kids around.

Again Old Navy is killing it lately and this dress is no exception.  Such a fun simple summer dress with a flattering cut.

This bag is a total splurge but ahhhh so perfect for spring! I'm drooling over it and trying to convince Kyle it would be a great mother's day gift (wink, wink).

I feel like I share a striped dress at least once a week but this one is too adorable not too.  It comes in four other colors and would again be a great transition piece from winter to spring.

Love this straw hat from Norstrom.  I have a few straw hats but the brims are all so big and saggy now I can't really wear them with the kids so this looks like it would be a great size.

Kyle and I were looking at the Serena & Lily catalog for inspiration for our renovations when we saw this wallpaper and fell in love!  We really want to add some fun bright colors when we renovate this year and we're trying to find a place to use this fun print.   It comes in a few colorways, but this navy one is my favorite.

What are you obsessing over this week friends?

  12. Loving that off the shoulder dress, although I always wonder if you raise your hands up, does the dress go up and then you have to readjust it every time? So then are you stuck keeping your hands at your side...this is what I think about and why I never get off the shoulder. haha.
