37 Weeks- Full Term!

How Far Along:
37 weeks 3 days- less than 3 weeks or 18 days to go!
 Baby Size:
According to What to Expect: Watermelon- approx. 19-22 in long and around 6.5lbs

Total weight gain/loss:
I've stopped looking- thanks to all the swelling I know this number is getting scary

Exercise:
It was over 90 degrees at the end of last week and over the weekend so my daily two mile walks were cut to 1 mile because both me and the dog were too hot, even at 7pm!   The weather has subsided so I'm hoping to resume these

Maternity Clothes:
Yes probably 90% of the time- I can still wear non maternity dresses and yoga pants

Stretch Marks:
So far so good, I'm getting nervous for these last few weeks though

Sleep:
I started sleeping in our guest room and it's been amazing! I still wake up 2-3 times a night to use the bathroom but the bed is much firmer than ours which has been great support on my huge belly and hips.

Best Moment of the Week:
I don't really have a moment in particular this week- I think it's crazy that June is finally here and we're getting so close to D-day.  I think we're both finally ready and aware that Baby Boy H could be here any day now.

Miss Anything:
Just the usual: pre-baby body, alcohol, sleeping on my back, being comfortable, and raw tuna

Movement:
Yes lots of large movements- I think he's starting to run out of room in there

Food Cravings:
I still like hot and spicy but no crazy cravings

Symptoms:
-SWELLING- I totally jinxed myself last week! Thanks to the over 90 degree heat my ankles and feet are huge!   I'm thankful it's stayed away from my face and fingers but it still is not comfortable at all.   My the end of the day I have full on cankles.  It's sexy.  The heat has subsided today so I'm hoping this will help.
-Sore hips
-can't tie my shoes without sitting down
-heartburn/indigestion
-getting hot easily
-a huge belly that gets in the way of everything
-my belly has dropped

Anything making your queasy or sick:
Nothing in particular but my heartburn is still going full force

Have you started to show yet:
Yes

Gender:
Boy!

Labor Signs:
I do think he's dropped down further because walking and sitting has become more uncomfortable but other than that, nothing.

Belly Button- In or Out?:
It's pretty much flattened out- I don't think it's going to pop out though

Wedding Rings- On or Off?:
Still On!

Happy or Moody?:
Happy-  my energy boost from last week has subsided slightly but I'm still feeling pretty good for being this big and pregnant.

Looking forward to:
Finishing up everything!  I was doing so well staying ahead of the game but work has been crazy busy lately so a lot of baby stuff has been put on the back burner so we are working hard to get it all finished up this week so we don't feel rushed if he makes an early appearance, I'm starting to doubt he will though :)

  1. congrats on being full term!!! It's it crazy to think you could go at any time and have a new baby within a few hours?! It;s been a really cold spring in Minnesota, which kinda sucks because I love summer, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise!

  13. Looking good! Almost there! You don't know swelling until your husband has to roll diabetic panty hose onto your feet and legs every night to try to help the swelling and such. Now that's SEXY!
