Friday Things

We had a wonderful holiday that was full of friends, family, too much food and wine!  It was a total whirlwind and I can't believe it's over already! I of course didn't take any pictures at all.   Friday is finally here, it's been a long (quiet) week at work and I'm ready for the 3 day weekend.

Do you all have any fun New Year's plans?  We decided to lay low this year, it's been a crazy year so we're ready to welcome 2012 with a night at home.   Does that make us old??

Don't worry we'll probably still have champagne and delicious food minus the crowds and expensive tabs!

If I was going out I would love to wear this dress below...

We're going car shopping this weekend. I'm just in the preliminary stages of looking for a new car for me.  I'm not sure if I want a sedan (b/c I commute 45min each way) to save gas or if it's time to move up to an SUV because we'll probably have a family in a few years.  So we'll see!

Here are my top choices:

it totally looks like a Audi without the price tag

I've heard the batteries are really expensive to replace on hybrids and since I'm going to have this car for a long time I'm not sure this will work- but I still haven't confirmed this

As you can see I'm kind of all over the place with the cars I like! Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated!

I hope you all have a happy new year!

  1. Happy New Year to you! W. and I are going out with two other couples to a place that lets us drink as much beer as we want for $20 on NYE. I'm over the places that charge a cover and play terrible music :)

    XOXO

  2. I think I'd pick something easy on gas for right now. You can always trade it in later for an suv! Hope you had a great new years!!!
