Spring Break Packing List

We head to Rosemary Beach for spring break in just one week!  After a long cold winter I'm so ready to escape to a warmer sunnier more tropical climate.  Even if it's not super hot there I'm just ready to see sand and palm trees.

I've been doing some shopping over the past month and can't wait to wear all my new pieces next week.

1. Vineyard Vines Seersucker Cover up- I saw this and could not resist ordering it. You all know I'm a sucker for blue and white stripes and I love the shirt style of this.  It arrived yesterday and it's even better than I expected.  It's so flattering and comfortable.  I'm usually a 6 in Vineyard vines but I went with an 8 for a looser fit and I'm so glad I did because it's a perfect fit.

2. Navy Packable Wide Bow Sunhat- I've had my eye on this hat forever and I finally purchased it.  I pretty much wear a hat anytime I'm outside these days so I wanted something that was cute but didn't look too old lady-ish, haha, does that make sense?  This one is so cute and I'm hoping the cream bow comes back in stock soon so I can snag that one too

3. J.Crew Striped Ruffle One Piece- You know I purchased this in the pink a few months ago and my regular size was too short in the torso so I decided to size up to see if that worked and it did!  I'm so happy I was able to make it work since I'm obsessed with this suit.  I know, I know more blue and white but I just can't help myself I just couldn't do the pink and white stripe.

4. Quay After Hours Sunglasses- I purchased these sunglasses last summer and they've become a staple in my wardrobe.  I pretty much only own Quay sunglasses right now because their oversized styles work great with my face shape.   Plus they're usually under $50 which is a win in my book.

5. Havaianas Gold Flip Flops- Havaianas have been my staple beach and pool flip flops for years.  They're so easy to throw on, get sand off of and they're under $30.

6. Beautycounter Countersun Mineral Spray and Stick Sunscreen- you know I'm all about using cleaner safer products when I can and I'm so happy that Beautycounter offers this sunscreen in a spray option.  It's so much easier to apply sunscreen to kids who won't sit still when you can spray it on, don't you agree?!  The stick is also another one you can't go wrong with for kids. I use this one for their little faces and it's easy to carry in my purse.

7. Straw Clutch-  if you follow me on instagram you know I shared this clutch over the weekend.  I'm waiting for it to arrive but I'm thinking it will be the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe collection.  It's under $20 and says it can easily fit an iPhone 8plus so I'm sold.

8. Jack Rogers Sandals-  One of my tried and true summer sandals!  I'm due for a new pair of gold JRs since mine broke last year :( They will go perfectly with my new navy dress below when I want to dress it down.

9. Supergoop SPF lip balm-  another clean beauty product I can't get enough of.  People always forget about protecting their lips from the sun so I've become crazy about making sure we all wear spf lip balm when we're outside to keep our lips safe from sun damage.

10. Scout Three Girls Bag-  since I will be on spring break with my kids I'll be bringing my go-to pool and beach bag.  This bag is the perfect size to fit 3-4 towels, sunscreen, lunch boxes, snacks, water bottles, and toys.  I've had this about 2 years now and don't see myself changing pool bags anytime soon.

11. Weave Double Disk Rattan Earrings- I actually first saw these earrings on Katie's blog and had to have them.  They're under $12 and so fun for summer.  I thought they could be fun paired with navy dress here, or a t-shirt and jeans.

12. Lilly Pulitzer Nala Soft Shift Dress-  Ahhh so many good things to say about this dress!  I honestly didn't love it when I first saw it online but once I saw it in person I changed my mind.  It's a such a forgiving dress for those of us who gain weight in our thighs and backside and the material is so comfortable.  The added bonus is it's an appropriate length for us tall girls!! Which can be hard to find with a lot of Lilly dresses.  I also think it can be dressed down with Jack Rogers or dressed up with these wedges (which I also own).  I'm thinking this will be great for some events I have coming up this summer.

Are you traveling anywhere warm for spring break?
