Weekend and 30 day Closet Remix Challenge Update

Happy Monday y'all!! I hope you all had a good weekend, relaxed, and enjoyed some football.  Kyle enjoyed plenty of football while I enjoyed some naps :)

We had a really low key weekend which is exactly what we all needed.  We finally cleaned out every last piece of stuff in the nursery and picked a paint color.

We were all over the place and finally settled on Benjamin Moore Mt Rainer Gray which is the second from the left.  We threw around some navy blues but they all looked almost black in the room so we skipped.  We are doing all the painting ourselves which will be the first time we've painted since 2008... So wish us luck!! We've hired professionals the last few times but Kyle really wanted us to take this one on ourselves, he said it would be fun. Then on Sunday he considered calling our painter after reassessing just how much work it is but then changed his mind and decided we can handle it. I actually enjoy painting it's just not the easiest when you're 8 months pregnant so I will be doing the easy stuff.

I went to Starbucks with the intention of getting a pumpkin spice latte but it was already almost 90 at 9:30am so I went for a frappacino instead.

We enjoyed the last weekend at our neighborhood pool- they had a DJ and free ice cream to send off the summer. Thankfully my parents keep theirs open until October 1 so we don't have to say goodbye to summer just yet.

I enjoyed some FRE champagne which I highly suggest to my fellow preggos- I'm pretty sure I've been suggesting this for the past 1.5 years but it really is the closet you can get to the real thing minus the alcohol.

So far I have been super successful with the first 7 days of my closet remix challenge!  I'm not going to lie that I haven't felt frustrated with my closet selections but I'm trying to stay strong because I know I can do it.
For some reason these pictures came out a little blurry but here are my outfits from the last week. I didn't document every day but tried my best.

Day 2:
Top: eshatki (gifted) I will be sharing more details and pictures of this shirt on Wednesday// Shorts: A Pea in the Pod // Shoes: Eliza B // Bracelets: J.crew (old), Forever21 // Watch: Michael Kors

Day 3:

Day 4:

Day 6:

Day 7:

So I've made it a full 7 days and I'm feeling good that I shouldn't have a problem carrying this on for the rest of the month!  Thanks for everyone who has joined up- you definitely help keep me motivated!!

  6. I can't wait to see the nursery! My parents live part time in PA and my mom was explaining to me how the pools are typically only open Memorial Day to Labor Day, regardless of weather. Such a foreign concept to us in FL! Glad you have a few more weeks at your parents' pool.

Love all your outfits - you're the cutest pregnant gal ever!
