Maternity Fashion: Must Have Items **Updated**

In March 2013 I did a post on my must have maternity items, which you can find here.  I still love every item that I listed and most of them are still available!! I went back through and updated some links and gave a few more opinions since I'm through one pregnancy and almost through a second.  Since I did that post last year I've found a few more items that I've added to my must have list that I wanted to share with you all.

While style is important to me by the time I get to the third trimester I'm much more into comfortable and inexpensive.  There is no reason to spend a ton of money on clothes you aren't going to be wearing that long.  Plus everything I listed in my first post is still in great condition 1.5 years later and I didn't break the bank on those items either.

I already have one pair of maternity jeans but I wanted to pick up another pair that didn't break the bank.  I usually don't have the best luck with Old Navy pants but I read the reviews on these and decided to give them a try.  I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! They fit really well and are flattering on my figure, Kyle even said they don't look like pregnancy pants at all (which is a compliment coming from him).  While they don't quite suck you in like some of the expensive designer brands do I really didn't want to shell out $150 for pair of pants I only plan to wear for a few months.   I would suggest sizing up as the reviewers said on the ON website.

 $19.95
Love, love, love these tees.  I picked up the black, light gray, and charcoal gray and I've been living in them all summer. They are so light and comfortable and have the perfect amount stretch without a ton of extra material like some maternity shirts do.  They are long enough to take me well into the end of my pregnancy and will work perfect under oversize sweaters.

$14.95
Everything I wrote about the tees but in the tank version- again you won't regret this purchase.

 On sale for $11.48!!
I am totally beating a dead horse with this one since I've mentioned it 100x already but I'm obsessed with this dress!! It is so flattering and every time I wear it I get a ton of nice compliments like "oh my gosh you don't even look pregnant!"  "There is no way you're having a baby in two months!"  I will take those ove the "you're so huge!" any day.  The best part about this dress is that you can take it into fall with a cardigan or jean jacket.

So do you have any maternity clothes must haves that I should know about?

  1. Love your picks and I may have to buy some of those gap tanks! I have old navy maternity jeans and a pair form destination maternity (Jessica Simpson brand) that I really like. I also bought a couple pairs of maternity leggings from dest. maternity that I've already been wearing a lot! I'm excited for cooler temps so I can wear my jeans more!

  3. I just tried on those Old Navy maternity jeans and they were SO comfy! I also had to size up. (Side note: I'm wearing those every Thanksgiving from here on out! haha) I'm also loving Gap maternity shirts, I'll have to try that Pure Body tee! I also love Gap's maternity leggings, pretty much planning to wear those all Fall and winter!

  5. Those Old Navy maternity jeans were my favveesss! They really don't look maternity at all, I wore them religiously through my pregnancy, and am sad now that I don't have a pair with a similar wash/length for non-pregnancy wear! Those Gap pure body t's and tanks are the best too. Those were on my maternity fave list too!

  6. I think I need that $11 dress now and I'll save it for later. Love a good deal and these are all so reasonably priced (and actually look comfy)!

  7. Is it weird that I still wear my maternity tanks because they are longer? Usually just under sweaters and such.
