23 Weeks!

My sister told me I need to step up my picture game- she said I look angry and they're always crooked. I'm hoping to convince my husband to take a cute one of me this weekend for 24 weeks.

How far along? 23 weeks
Baby Size: Ear of Corn- baby is about 8.5 inches and weighs 1.5lbs
Total weight gain/loss: 20lbs at my last appt. It was also a late afternoon appt so I think that added a few pounds on but at the same time I'm totally ok with it.
Maternity clothes? Pants yes, dresses pretty much, shirts I can still pull off my pre-baby ones
Stretch marks? No and hoping it stays that way
Sleep:   It's been ok- ever since we moved Layla has to sleep on our bed touching one of us and she's been waking up around 4am so that has not been helping with my tiredness
Best moment this week:  I registered!  Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby were totally overwhelming but it feels good to have that box checked
Miss Anything?  I do miss working out at the level I used to.  I've been trying to walk 1-2 miles a day but that feels nothing like a good hard run after a stressful day. I prefer high impact over low impact workouts
Movement: Yes- this is one active baby boy- I feel him all the time now
Food cravings: Still milk- I have a bowl of cereal a day

Symptoms: My boobs! OMG these things are out of control.  They pretty much just appeared in the past 2 weeks.  I have always been an A and now I am suddenly a C- I have no idea what to do with them
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not this week
Have you started to show yet: Yes
Gender prediction: Boy!!
 Labor Signs:  No
Belly Button in or out?  In
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy!
Looking forward to: Finishing our unpacking and organizing this weekend.  I think nesting has fully kicked in- I am just dying to get this house organized

  1. I can't remember what a really hard workout feels like, but I'm ok with that now. I really missed it at first! Walking has been the best thing for me this winter!

  2. Walking is awesome! I read stuff that said walking helps you have an easier labor... I walked a lot, just in case it was true.
You look so cute. The boobs will be with you for awhile. Hooray for registering!!

  6. I feel like I could have been writing this post! Weight gain, maternity clothes, missing working out... I love my cereal too...whether it's in the morning or even sometimes as an evening snack. Too funny about the boobs...I'm usually a B, but I'm definitely a full C right now, probably even pushing D. I'm actually kind of glad they aren't like this all the time...I find that I'm so self conscious about them!

Amen to the nesting too...I'm all about getting things organized these days!

    You're looking great!

  7. I can totally relate on the work outs! I miss running; it was such a great stress reliever for me. Not being able to get in a good work out has been really hard. Also, the nesting? I thought that wasn't supposed to happen until later. All I want to do is clean and organize right now.

  8. How exciting to be having a little boy! Are you going to be doing a nautical themed nursery? My friend is having a boy and her baby show theme is "ships ahoy i'm having a boy!" Made me think of you! xx
